Mystique is certainly one of the best-known shapeshifters out there, which is one of the reasons I'm trying to stay away from her kind of job--no point in just re-creating an already-famous character.
I do like some of the intricacies of her shapeshifting, though, like the fact that she essentially has a healing factor and doesn't age, because her cells regenerate every time she shifts.
